Appellants, taxpayers and owners of outstanding Drew County Courthouse and Jail Bonds, brought this suit to enjoin the issuance and sale of bonds for the purpose of building a County Hospital.

They alleged in their complaint that in order to construct a courthouse and jail, “the County Court of Drew county, Arkansas, on the first day of September, 1931, entered an order . . . authorizing the issue and the sale of the bonds of said county in the aggregate principal sum of one hundred and fifty thousand ($150,000) dollars to be issued and sold as of September 1, 1931, bearing interest at the…
