Jeffrey and Summer Olmstead sued Mark and Caroline Goldman for breach of a contract to purchase residential real estate. The Goldmans filed a third-party petition against Sandra Hewett, the real estate agent who represented them in the transaction, asserting claims for negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), fraud in a real estate transaction, common law fraud, and negligent misrepresentation, and against NRT Texas, L.L.C.
