Charles Stayer presented a petition to the court of quarter sessions of Bedford County for the appointment of viewers to lay out a private road from his lands over lands of Crummell C. Smith to the public road leading from Chaneysville to Everett in West Providence Township. Viewers were appointed and their appointment continued from time to time and after holding the view they filed a report on September 3, 1928, but this report was never confirmed absolutely.
