Plaintiff herein, Oliver P. Bonner, a labor foreman on a sewer installation project undertaken by his employer, Hebert Brothers, Engineers, instituted this action against defendant, General Accident Fire and Life Assurance Corporation, Ltd. (insurer of Hebert Brothers, Engineers), to recover workmen’s compensation benefits for alleged total permanent disability purportedly resulting from a back injury sustained by plaintiff in the course of his employment by his aforesaid employer on June 18, 1956.
