In an action to recover damages for medical malpractice, the defendant appeals, as limited by her brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Dunn, J.), dated December 7, 2001, as denied her motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint with leave to renew upon the completion of discovery.

Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.
