(after stating the facts). The Christian Brotherhood was a corporation chartered by the General Assembly of Virginia, upon the mutual insurance principle. It was made by the charter, capable in law and equity, to sue and be sued, to plead and be impleaded, contract and be contracted with, and use a common seal, &c.
