12This is .Lionel Burton’s second appeal. The sole issue raised herein is whether the trial court erred in denying defendant’s motion to suppress evidence. For the reasons which follow, we affirm the ruling of the trial court.

PROCEDURAL HISTORY

On May 6, 2010, defendant pled guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1 (count one), and to possession with intent to distribute heroin, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966 A (count two).1 The trial court thereafter sentenced defendant to imprisonment at hard labor for fifteen years on…
