OPINION
The Retirement Board of the Policemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund of the City of Chicago (the Board) denied the application of Maria Kouzoukas (Kouzoukas) for duty disability benefits. On administrative review, the circuit court of Cook County reversed the Board’s decision and awarded Kouzoukas prejudgment interest.
