SIMON, Justice.
Plaintiff instituted this suit jointly against the Police Jury of the Parish of Jefferson as the governing authority of the Board of Control of the Jefferson Parish Library, and the Board of Control of the Jefferson Parish Library to recover the sum of $25,500, alleged to be the aggregate of rentals due under a written contract of lease which he executed on November 7, 1952, and alleged to have been breached by the defendant’s abandonment of the leased premises.
