Defendant Salvatore Zambuto pleaded guilty on June 30, 2016 to one count of assault in the third degree (Penal Law § 120.00 [1]) with a promised sentence of eight weekends’ intermittent imprisonment split with three years’ probation. On August 11, 2016, the court imposed the negotiated sentence, including the parties’ agreement that the defendant would begin serving his intermittent sentence by reporting to Rikers Island on September 9, 2016 and for seven successive weekends.
