Centronics Data Computer Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“Centronics”), brought an action for rent due on a lease of computer equipment. Lessee, El Conquistador Hotel Corporation (“El Conquistador”), a Puerto Rico corporation, asserted as an affirmative defense and counterclaim fraud in the inducement and sought rescission of the lease.
