OPINION ON STATE’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

DUNCAN, Judge.

The appellant was convicted by a jury of the offense of bribery pursuant to V.T.C.A. Penal Code, § 36.02, and assessed punishment by the jury at twenty-five years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections and a fine of $10,000. On direct appeal to the Eleventh Court of Appeals in Eastland, Texas, the appellant’s conviction was reversed.
