Plaintiffs sought recovery for personal injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. The record below indicates that plaintiffs engaged in a protracted course of conduct that resulted in the frustration of two of the defendants’ attempts to obtain discovery pertinent to medical issues, including the issue of whether plaintiffs’ injuries satisfied the no-fault act threshold requirement of a serious impairment of body function, MCL 500.3135(1); MSA 24.13135(1).
