(charging jury). It is charged in the indictment that the defendant knowingly received in pledge, for an obligation or indebtedness, from a soldier of the United States, Lucilus H. Turner, in the military service of the United States, stationed at the military post of Ft. Sam Houston, Bexar county, Tex., certain clothes; that is to say, one overcoat of the value of, to wit, $20, the same being public property of the United States, the said soldier aforesaid, to wit, Ducilus H.
