— This is an action for damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by plaintiff through and by reason of the negligence of defendant’s servants and employees.
The petition alleges that defendant was at the time of the alleged injury a corporation engaged in the business of furnishing telephone service, and at the same time operating a manufacturing plant, and that plaintiff was, and for several years had been, in defendant’s employ, engaged in working on certain wood-working *152machinery in its said establishment.
