The defendant, The Kasper Group, Inc., appeals from the judgment of the trial court granting the application of the plaintiff, the city of Bridgeport, to vacate an arbitration award under General Statutes *468§ 52-418 (a) (3),1 claiming that the trial court improperly determined that the arbitrator had committed misconduct in denying the plaintiffs motions to stay the proceedings and to submit additional evidence.
