The appellant was convicted of the crime of receiving and having in his possession stolen property, knowing that it was stolen. The record contains five bills of exception.

The first bill was reserved to the overruling of a motion in which the defendant asked the court to discharge the jury venire drawp for the week, or to postpone the trial of his ease to another week. The complaint was that the veniremen had heard the testimony in the trial of the man who was accused of stealing the goods, and who was tried and convicted on the day before the trial of the defendant in this ease.
