The appeal is from the chancellor’s decree disposing of the custody of two infant children of the parties—Richard W. English, aged about eleven years, and Phebe E. English, aged about nine years. The litigants are husband and wife, and, since November, 1875, have lived separate. The wife, on removing from the domicile of her husband, took with her, to her father’s house, both children, and has since resided there, retaining their possession.
