The Independent Supply Company, engaged in the business of purchasing and selling oil well pipe and other drilling supplies in the town of Gladewater, Tex., carried liability insurance with the Traders General Insurance Company, Inc., in accordance with the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Law (Vernon's Ann.Civ.St. art. 8306 et seq.). O. Bendorf was employed by the supply company to visit different portions of the state for the purpose of buying and selling oil well supplies.
