LEVAL, Circuit Judge.

The Government appeals from the judgment of the United States District Court *148for the District of Connecticut (Dorsey, J.) granting a writ of habeas corpus to Frank Michael Parise pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255, and reducing his sentence from 240 months imprisonment to 192 months. Parise was convicted of conspiracy to possess cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 and possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1).
