I must respectfully dissent from the majority’s decision because the circuit court clearly erred in granting Destiny’s petition for stepparent adoption. Specifically, the circuit court clearly erred in finding that Reanna’s consent was not required for Destiny to adopt the children.
At issue here are two separate orders in two separate proeeedings-an order issued in a divorce proceeding and an order issued in an adoption proceeding.
