The plaintiff injoined the defendant, the tax collector, from selling under act 47 of the acts of 1873, certain lands in the parish of Morehouse, -which he alleges belong to him, for the State and parish taxes for the years 1870, 1871 and 1872, and also for the penalties prescribed by law for non payment of the taxes of 1870 and 1871.
The court finding that the taxes for 1870 had been paid, maintained the injunction to that extent. It also maintained the injunction in regard to the penalties, but dissolved it for the taxes of 1871 and 1872, ordering the sale to be made for said amounts and…
