MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

EDELSTEIN, District Judge:

This is a medical malpractice action brought against Northern Dutchess Hospital (“Northern Dutchess”) and William H. Jameison, M.D. (“Jameison”). On March 11, 1985, plaintiff moved to strike the affirmative defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and statute of limitations from defendants’ answers.1 Defendants have cross-moved to dismiss the complaint, pursuant to Rules 12(b)(2) and 12(b)(5) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, on the ground that that defendants were not properly served with the summons and complaint in this action.…
