The defendant appeals from his conviction for first degree murder and sentence to life imprisonment. The defendant has assigned as error the denial of his motion to suppress and the subsequent admission into evidence of the challenged testimony; the “death qualification” of the jury; the admission into evidence of a photograph of the victim; and the giving of an instruction on the defense of intoxication.
