Timothy Taylor appeals as a matter of right from an October 13, 2006 Judgment of the Jefferson County Circuit Court convicting him of intentional murder. The Commonwealth alleged that on December 29, 2008, Taylor, who was seventeen at the time, shot and killed Christopher Buckner outside a house on Whitman Way in Louisville, Kentucky. Several hours after the shooting, the police located Taylor at a house near the murder scene, arrested him, and took him to police headquarters, where Taylor confessed to shooting Buckner.
