PREWITT, Judge.

The parties’ marriage was dissolved on July 12, 1988, and appellant was awarded *557primary custody of a three-year-old female child born of the marriage. In October of 1988, respondent filed a motion to modify the decree to give primary custody of the child to her. On August 17,1990, appellant filed a motion to modify the decree seeking to limit respondent’s “temporary custody and visitation”. Following trial, respondent was granted primary physical custody.
