This is an application for a writ of peremptory mandamus against the defendants. By an act of assembly, approved the seventh day of April, A. D. 1869, Daniel B. Althouse and Preston Miller, of the county of Schuylkill, and W. W. Jones, of the county of Dauphin, were appointed commissioners to view and lay out a state road from a designated point in Porter township, in the county of Schuylkill, through said township, to the town of Williamstown, in the county of Dauphin, with the power to follow the line of and adopt any existing…
