This was a bill in equity, brought by the Bank of Kentucky v. The Schuylkill Bank, in the city of Philadelphia, and Hosea J. Levis. The original bill was filed on the 17th of December, 1889. On the 18th of June, 1842, an act of the legislature of this state was passed, giving the Bank of Kentucky authority to proceed in equity in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, against the Schuylkill Bank, and such other persons as the complainant might choose, either by a new original bill, or by amending and enlarging the bill then pending, for the purpose of settling the controversy between the…
