This was a suit brought by Isaae Beebe, against the defendants, Mary Brown and Adalino Perry, for a mechanic’s lien. The petition sets out two contracts. By one, the plaintiff agreed to do certain work in repairing a house for the sum of forty dollars to be paid by defendants. The other contract was to build an addition to the first mentioned house, for which defendants agreed to pay one hundred and eighty-five dollars.

The answer of the defendant denied all tho allegations in tlie petition, and sets up new matter in defense.
