Plaintiff was run over by an automobile driven by defendant’s minor son on a public highway a short distance west of the City of Joliet, and brought this suit to recover damages for the injuries inflicted upon him thereby. The case was tried upon an amended declaration and additional counts and pleas of the general issue to each, and there was a verdict and a judgment for plaintiff for $700, from which defendant appeals.
