Defendants, Celies Dessin (“Dessin”) and William Jerome (“Jerome”), have been indicted for larceny over $250 (G.L.c. 266, §30), motor vehicle insurance fraud (G.L.c. 266, §11 IB), and conspiracy (G.L.c. 274, §7).1 They now move to dismiss the indictments on the basis that the grand jury had insufficient evidence to support those indictments; and Jerome alone argues that the grand jury proceedings were impaired both by the Commonwealth’s unfair and misleading presentation of the evidence and by the Commonwealth’s failure to introduce exculpatory evidence.
