USX Corporation (Employer) petitions for review of an order of the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (Board) that affirmed as amended the order of a workers’ compensation judge (WCJ) that granted hearing loss benefits to William Way (Claimant).

Claimant began working for Employer in 1964 and continues to work for Employer presently. On August 4,1995, Claimant filed a claim petition alleging that he suffered an occupational hearing loss as a result of long term exposure to hazardous occupational noise and acoustic trauma.
