INTRODUCTION

Before the court are the defendant’s motion to mold and reduce the verdict and the plaintiffs’ motion for delay damages. The motions arise from a jury verdict *562entered on May 22, 2008 in favor of the plaintiff Ena S. Verdier in connection with damages she sustained when her car collided with the defendant’s car on June 29, 2001. The court has considered the written and oral arguments of counsel, as well as the record and the available law. The motions are ready for decision.
