McCALEB, Justice.

Appellant was elected in 1940 to one of the judgeships of the Juvenile-CourD for the Parish of Orleans for the' term begfinning January 1, 1941, and ending December 31, 1948. Under Section 96 of Article VII of the Constitution, as amended by Act No. 322 of 1944, 1 appellant’s successor was required to be elected at the Congressional election fixed by law on Tuesday November 2nd 1948.
