This is an appeal by Consolidated Edison Co. of New York, Inc. (appellant or Con Edison), and a cross-appeal by the United States (appellee or Government), from a September 20, 1977, judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Lawrence W. Pierce, Judge, awarding damages to the United States in a contract action.
