The defendant was indicted for murder, and upon the trial of the case was found guilty, with a recommendation *818for mercy. She filed a motion for a new trial, and assigns error upon the overruling of the same. On the trial of the case the State offered evidence tending to show that the deceased was shot while he was in the house of the defendant and after he had gone there to visit.her.
