The trustee in bankruptcy of the St. Louis Chemical Company brought suit in a state court of Michigan against the Gratiot County State Bank to recover, as ¿Ilegal preferences, payments made to it within four months before the filing of the involuntary petition. The Bank denied the allegation that the Chemieal Company was. insolvent when the payments wére made.
