Cynthia Robinson, as the widow and personal representative of the estate of Albert Robinson, Jr., deceased, and as the representative of Kirby Robinson, a minor, sued King Power Equipment, Inc., on October 24, 1997, seeking to recover workers' compensation death benefits. She alleged that Albert had injured his hand during the course of his employment, and that that injury had resulted in his death.
