OPINION

BRYNER, Chief Judge.

Amelia Hernandez was convicted by a jury of one count of assault in the second degree, one count of assault in the third degree, and two counts of assault in the fourth degree. Superior Court Judge Larry R. Weeks imposed a composite sentence requiring Hernandez to serve one year of unsuspended time in jail and specifying that she could fulfill eight months of the unsuspended term by performing community work instead of actually serving time in jail.
