¶ 1. Dorothy Sipp, the Estate of Beverly Blankinchip, Erica Blankinchip, Ceselie Blankinchip, and Deanie Lee, individually and as mother and next friend of Summer Jackson (collectively, the Appellants) sued the Mississippi Department of Transportation 1 for injuries and death resulting from a two-vehicle collision on a state highway in George County, Mississippi. 2 After discovery, the George County Circuit Court found that there were no genuine issues of material fact and granted summary judgment on behalf of MDOT.
