Quillian, Justice.

On February 13, 1963, Orelander Jones, alias Goolsby, was convicted of murder in Jasper Superior Court. He excepted to a judgment overruling his amended motion for new trial and brings the case here for review. He expressly abandons the general grounds of the motion for new trial and candidly states in the brief of his counsel presented to this court: “We respectfully maintain that the sole question upon which a decision will rest in this case is: Did the examination of this child [Willie James Brown, age twelve, a witness for the State] show that he had knowledge of the…
