In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, defendant appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County, entered May 2, 1973, in favor of plaintiff, upon a jury verdict of $1,750,000. Judgment reversed, on the law and the facts, with costs, and complaint dismissed. Plaintiff, a professional prize fighter, was a sparring partner for Doug Jones, who was then a contender for the heavyweight championship in training at the hotel operated by defendant.
