YEAGLEY, Associate Judge:

Appellant was charged by indictment with grand larceny (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2201), unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2204), and receiving stolen property (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2205). At the conclusion of the government’s case, appellant’s motion for judgment of acquittal was granted as to the felony counts of grand larceny and receiving stolen property, reducing them to misdemeanors, but denied as to the count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
