Plea of privilege case. Jefferson Chemical Company, Inc. (Jeffco) brought suit in Harris County against Texaco, United Gas Company (United), Stone and Webster Engineering Company (Stone), Rockwell Manufacturing Company (Rockwell), For-ney Engineering Company (Forney), Automatic Switch Company (Asco), Bettis Corporation (Bettis), Bailey Meter Company (Bailey), and American Western Company.
