| ,The appellant, K.J., was adjudicated a delinquent child1 for violation of La. R.S. 14:34, relative to the aggravated battery of F.B.2 At the conclusion of the adjudication hearing held on 30 November 2010, K.J. was found to be delinquent for the crime of aggravated battery. That same day, the juvenile judge placed K.J. with the Office of Juvenile Justice (“OJJ”) for a period of time not to exceed one year.
