This is an appeal from conviction, upon trial by jury, of robbery in the first degree involving the use of a pistol. OBS 164.415(1) (a).① The relevant facts *131are set forth in the discussion of the defendant’s assignments of error.
Defendant first contends that the court permitted the introduction of inadmissible hearsay.
