This appeal involves a claim made under the workmen’s compensation law. Ferdinand Guison, Jr., was a coal miner, employed by the coal company, and on June 11, 1924, while *330engaged in moving a rock in the mine, another rock fell upon his right hand injuring the index as well as the second and third fingers. The company recognizing that the injury entitled him to compensation paid compensation to him at the rate of $9.53 per week until some time in August of that year, after which it declined to make payments.
