The defendant, Herby Lormand, appeals the trial court’s partition of the community formerly existing between him and the plaintiff, Sylvia Baeque Lormand.

The parties were married on January 20, 1962. Sylvia Lormand left the matrimonial domicile and filed a Petition for Separation in October 16, 1989. A divorce was granted on December 10, 1991. The parties stipulated to a termination of the community effective October 16, 1989, the date of filing of the Petition for Separation. They further stipulated to the partition of the majority of the assets of the community.…
