Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Albany County) to review a determination of respondent which denied petitioner’s application for ordinary disability retirement benefits.

Petitioner was employed as a mental hygiene therapy aide. In 1983 she applied for ordinary disability retirement benefits. After her claim was disapproved, a hearing was held at which medical evidence and testimony concerning petitioner’s health was presented.
