Plaintiff Board of Trustees of the Automobile Mechanics’ Local No. 701 Union and Industry Pension Fund filed this action under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), as amended by the Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendment Acts of 1980 (MPPAA). The Fund seeks to collect withdrawal liability incurred as a result of the withdrawal from the Fund by defendant Joyce Ford, Inc.
